For as far as we know, this problem has been solved now. However, please notify us in case you find an error in it (or somewhere else on the website). General 5 February 2008 http://www.aircraftinfobase.net/index.php?view=6&page=all#54 As of now, the upload system is back online again. There are some new things about uploading though.

- You can now upload a close-up and a total photo of the same aircraft at once.
- Before you start uploading, you have to enter the registration of the aircraft you want to upload. The website then automatically enters all information available, so that you only have to enter the information of your photos and if necessary you can update the data of the aircraft itself.
- The last new option is a preview: it shows you how your upload will look like on the website.

Next to the uploading system, we completely redesigned the reviewing system, so we hope to be able to review your photos even faster than before!

This means that some options on the website will be temporary unavailable. The main thing that won't be online will be the upload system (actually, it's the review system that needs to be adjusted).

We are very sorry for this inconvenience, but we'll promise that you will get a better upload system in return. Next to that, the new server will also give us more capacity so there might be some extended features on the website in the (near) future.

This is another historical boundary that has been reached in short time, after the 1000th photo online last week. There are still enough aircraft out there to be added to Aircraft InfoBase, so keep those uploads coming!

As can be understood from the above, we would not have been able to accomplish all this without the help of our visitors, uploaders and of course the airlines that sent their names to us. The website already processed over 1400 photos, but because of the policy of replacing photos if newer and/or better photos are uploaded we actually have less photos online than that have been accepted by the reviewers. Nevertheless, we are still rushing ahead and have also already passed the 1100th photo at the moment of writing this article.
