Aircraft InfoBase is a site where you can find information about aircraft with a name.
Some aircraft are named after a city or a person, but also bridges and rivers are possible names. Some aircraft are even called after a railway! Next to the special names you can also find more detailed information on the names and aircraft, which is often accompanied by a photo of the name and/or the total aircraft.
Both large, international airlines and small, regional airlines are present in the database.
We also have articles in which you can find the names of an airline company ordered per group per aircraft type. Some airlines have named their whole fleet after lakes for example, but other airlines might have different kinds of names per type.
We officially receive information from airlines about their aircraft with names! The airlines that officially granted us information about their fleet can be seen at the official airlines page. Next to that you are also able to upload names yourself.
